David Potach,
PT, MS, SCS, CSCS*D

Having been involved in several areas of athletic development, David is uniquely qualified as a provider of sport-specific rehabilitation. He was a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Creighton University for several years, which afforded him the opportunity to work with not only high level intercollegiate athletes for all sports, but also professional and Olympic athletes. He has been able to continue his work with professional athletes at OSPT. In addition, David uses his experience with both playing soccer and running to treat several high caliber (Olympic and professional) athletes both here and internationally.
A Nebraska native, David is an internationally-known expert in the field of plyometrics and sports rehabilitation and has spoken internationally and regionally on running, soccer and strength training and conditioning. He has authored several articles on sports rehabilitation as well as textbook chapters on rehabilitation, speed training and plyometric training chapters for both the Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning and NSCA’s Essentials of Personal Training textbooks.

David’s Experience
In addition to being a founding member of the NSCA’s Sports Medicine Section, David was also honored as one of the first recipients of the NSCA’s Sports Medicine Specialist of the Year!
David has served on several professional committees for both the APTA and NSCA. He has also spoken at numerous conferences, including local, regional, national and international. One of the most memorable was lecturing on soccer rehab to a group of physical therapy students in China at Beijing Sport University in 2010.
