We have developed a unique group of services to endurance athletes in the Omaha-area.

You may have read about or you may have been coached by us or we may have helped you with an injury. If not, or if you trained on your own or with another coach, we invite you to check out our blog and explore some of the performance services we provide.

coaching

We all need help from time-to-time, that’s a given.  But the help one athlete needs differs greatly from the help another requires.  For that reason, OSPT offers several coaching programs.  So click on the links below to learn more about each option.

performance analysis & improvement

We offer a number of other services from biomechanic and video analyses to gait retraining and body composition testing.

Each of those services complement our overall training approach by focusing on:

  • an athlete’s ability to work at a high level (lactate threshold) for longer and longer periods of time (VO2max)
  • movement efficiency to improve performance and reduce injuries (video analysis, bike fit, body composition)
  • power production (vertical jump, bike fit, CompuTrainer)

They may be used in conjunction with coaching or by themselves to help you get where you want to go.

sports nutrition

Proper nutrition is an important consideration for athletes whose goal is to improve their performance. Diets do not directly increases strength, power, or endurance, but an appropriate, well-timed diet will allow an athletes to train and compete to the best of their ability. OSPT understands these goals and appreciates the scientific rationale for performance-enhancing nutritional practices and practical information concerning the nutritional needs of athletes. We work with Certified Nutrition of Omaha to help you achieve your goals through the use of a proper nutrition strategy.
